LA Plaza Village is a high-density low-rise mixed-use project comprising two city blocks and a pedestrian paseo that connects the LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes Museum and the historic Pueblo with the foot of historic Fort Moore and the School of the Performing Arts. Anchored by the Cesar Chavez Foundation headquarters, retail, food-and-beverage outlets, cultural programming and residences, the project establishes a residential enclave and enriches a unique neighborhood within the Downtown core.
The Village contains a mix of live/work lofts, studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom family-focused apartments that address both market-rate and affordable-rate housing. In addition to the ground level public open space, a dozen common roof decks provide settings for social interaction and recreation. State-of-the-art amenities include a large fitness center, swimming pool and spa, dog park and community lounge. A public arts program, interpretive signage and graphics, paving inlays, cultural iconography and traditional building materials honor the cultures that have come together to form this diverse Downtown neighborhood.
