Partners, Scott Johnson and Bill Fain joined Pereria and Associates in the 1980’s and acquired the firm now known as Johnson Fain in 1988.

Scott Johnson was honored with the 2016 Citizen of the Year Award. The award ceremony took place at FOX Studios where the Century City Chamber of Commerce honored City National Bank as the Corporate Citizen of the Year, and Scott Johnson, as the Individual Citizen of the Year.
